Before you can make requests to the Sine Public API, you will need to generate credentials for your API client.

Navigate to the **Admin Dashboard** in Sine.

Click on the **Settings **menu item.

Click on the **API keys **tab.
:::

In the **Public API credentials** section, generate a set of secure client credentials.

Be sure to record your client secret somewhere safe and secure as the secret *will not *be displayed again.

Use your client ID and client secret to generate an access token using the `/oauth/token` endpoint.

Include the returned `access_token` in the `Authorization` header of all requests you make to the API.
